Dr. Joe Gallagher is a GP in Gorey, Co. Wexford. He was previously the ICGP Lead on the HSE Heart Failure Programme. Following this he was a Research Fellow with the Heartbeat Trust and UCD where he undertook an MD on the Diagnosis and Prevention of Heart Failure. He has worked in Malawi where he is involved in ongoing projects on child health and chronic diseases. He is the current ICGP Cardiovascular Lead.
